North Texas Giving Day!
Helping Hands. Healing Communities.
September 1-19, 2024

Contributions Benefit Underprivileged Communities.

The Flanagan Foundation is excited to be a part of our first North Texas Giving Day, where you can contribute to helping
us help others.

We are seeking to raise $5,000 in contributions to enhance
our community services and expand our youth development programs. Specifically, these contributions will be used to provide access to essential resources, such as computers
and training software, that are vital for educational and
job-training initiatives.

"The contributions will allow us to bring in specialized consultants to help develop and run youth-focused
programs, including after-school activities, job training, and skills development in trades", stated Mike Flanagan, founder and executive director of The Flanagan Foundation. "These programs will be designed to equip young people with the
tools and knowledge they need to succeed academically and professionally, ensuring they have a brighter future,"
stated Flanagan.

Your support will  allow us to scale our current operations, increase the number of families and individuals we serve,
and continue addressing the critical issue of food insecurity
in our community.

Uplifting Young Girls and Women

Join Anna's House and local community partners on February 18, 2024, as we come together to uplift young women aged 16-25 who may be experiencing domestic violence.

Statistics reveal that 1 in 3 young people will find themselves in an abusive or unhealthy relationship. Shockingly, young women aged 16-24 are at the highest risk of experiencing domestic violence and often lack education in recognizing and addressing such issues.

We are proud to announce that The Flanagan Foundation has generously supported this event by providing 200 cosmetics, health, and beauty products for over 50 swag bags. Bags will be distributed to attendees during our "Girl, Let's Talk" lunch and learn session, offering essential support and resources to empower these young ladies.

Honoring and Recognizing  a
True American Hero

On November 2, 1983, President Ronald Reagan signed the King Holiday Bill into law, designating the third Monday in January a federal holiday in observance of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Martin Luther King, Jr.'s leadership of the modern American Civil Rights Movement, from December 1955 until April 4, 1968, African Americans achieved more genuine progress toward racial equality in America than the previous 350 years had produced.

King was chief spokesperson for nonviolent activism in the Civil Rights Movement, which protested racial discrimination in federal and state law and civil society.

Children on The Mend 2023 Christmas
Holiday Party
Saturday, December 16, 2023

Hosted by The Flanagan Foundation

On December 16, 2023, Children On the Mend, in collaboration with the Flanagan Foundation, LLC proudly hosted the Annual Christmas Holiday Party, creating a festive and memorable experience for over 60 families facing food and social insecurities.

The event was a heartwarming celebration, bringing together the spirit of the season with acts of kindness and generosity. Families were treated to an afternoon filled with joy, laughter, and the magic of the holidays.

Santa Claus himself made a special appearance, spreading cheer and creating unforgettable moments for children and parents alike. The festive atmosphere was enhanced by delicious food and a variety of fun activities, creating a sense of community and togetherness.

One of the highlights of the day was the distribution of Christmas gifts to the little ones in attendance. These gifts, provided through the kindness of our sponsors and the dedication of our volunteers, brought smiles to the faces of children who might not have otherwise received presents during the holiday season.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the many sponsors and volunteers who played a crucial role in making this event a resounding success. Your support and generosity helped brighten the holidays for these deserving families, and
your commitment to community well-being has left
a lasting impact.

Thank you for being a part of the Annual Christmas Holiday Party and for contributing to the joy and happiness that
defines the true spirit of the season. Together, we made a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season filled with
warmth, compassion, and the joy that comes from giving.

With heartfelt thanks,
